Letting the architecture lead
This dining room’s curved walls were its best feature — and its hardest to paint, since every roller mark showed on the sweep. The clients wanted warmth without heaviness, so we chose a mid‑toned lime plaster that sits between beige and clay.
Four thin troweled coats went on over two days, burnished back to a soft matte and sealed in natural wax. With no corners to break the surface, the plaster reads as one continuous shell, and evening light now moves around the room instead of stopping at the edges.
